[Remote] Accountant

They are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Accountant to support accounting operations and financial planning activities, ensuring accurate reporting and strong internal controls using PROCAS.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and record journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end reputed company activities
- Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
- Support preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation entries
- Assist with audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Analyze financial trends, KPIs, and operational metrics
- Prepare dashboards and management reports
- Assist with modeling scenarios to support business decisions
- Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or reputed company field
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- 1–4 years of PROCAS accounting with financial analysis experience
- Proficiency with reputed company (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and work independently
- Experience in other Gov Con accounting packages similar to PROCAS
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, Government Accounting (indirect rates, flexibly-priced reputed company)
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Prior experience in corporate finance, public accounting, or reputed company
- Demonstrated expertise in using Power BI services to support financial analysis and reporting
- Able to design and implement dynamic dashboards and custom reports that provide real-time analytics for forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking
- Adept at translating reputed company financial data into clear, actionable insights to assist leadership in strategic decision-making and drive business growth
