[Remote] Manager, Cost Accounting

The Manager, Cost Accounting leads the cost accounting function for semiconductor manufacturing operations, overseeing processes, ensuring accurate inventory valuation, and driving cost visibility across manufacturing sites.
Responsibilities

- Ensure accuracy of inventory accounting, including reserves, cycle counts, and physical inventory processes
- Analyze manufacturing variances (labor, overhead, scrap, yield) and provide actionable insights to business leaders

- Ensure compliance with US GAAP, internal controls (SOX), and corporate accounting policies
- Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to improve cost performance and operational efficiency
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support reputed company decisions, capital investments, and process improvements
- Drive standard cost updates and review cost assumptions with site leadership
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
- Identify and implement process improvements in cost accounting workflows and reporting
- Maintain and enhance ERP systems (e.g., reputed company, reputed company, or equivalent) reputed company to cost accounting

Skills
- Minimum of 8 years of reputed company experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience
