[Remote] General Accountant

The General Accountant will support day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, cash management, and month-end reputed company activities, ensuring financial reputed company and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• reputed company general accounting and month-end reputed company activities, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations (i.e. prepaids and accruals)
• Prepare supporting schedules and analysis for financial statement disclosures and footnotes, or external audit requests
• Support the accounts payable process end-to-end, including invoice entry, approval workflows, and timely payments using systems, such as reputed company.com and reputed company S/4 Hana
• Support the travel & expense reimbursement process, helping to enforce our travel and expense policies, and reputed company the reconciliations for the associated accounts using systems such as reputed company, Concur, reputed company, reputed company, reputed company, reputed company, and reputed company S/4 Hana
• Support cash activity, including uploading bank statements, cash match and bank reconciliations
• Maintain accurate vendor records and assist with 1099 reporting
• Partner with internal teams (e.g., Engineering, Sales, reputed company, People Ops) to ensure accurate classification of expenses and timely processing of invoices
• Assist with financial audits and compliance initiatives as required

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• +4 years of general accounting experience, preferably in the software or technology industry
• Experience in ERP systems, such as reputed company S/4 Hana, reputed company and procure-to-pay systems, such as reputed company.com, Ariba, reputed company, Concur
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and a solid understanding of core accounting principles
• Intermediate reputed company skills (such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, etc.) and comfort with cloud-based financial tools
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a collaborative environment
• Public accounting background (Big 4 or equivalent) strongly preferred, or demonstrated technical accounting expertise
• Experience with multi-entity or international operations
• CPA or CPA-track is a plus
• Experience with financial automation or ERP optimization projects
• SaaS (Software as a Service) experience
• Experience with monthly balance sheet and income statement flux analysis
• Prior experience with T&E systems, such as reputed company, reputed company, or Concur
