[Remote] M&S Software Engineer - California
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company Inc. is excited to support the reputed company Force Modeling and Simulation Support Services (AFMS3) contract. The primary purpose of this contract is to ensure that the Department of the reputed company Force (DAF), reputed company (DoD), and External Partner Agencies maintain cutting-edge Modeling and Simulation (M&S) capabilities that are secure, interoperable, and efficient. The M&S Software Engineer will design, reputed company, and implement software applications, providing technical support and ensuring the evolution of M&S systems.
Responsibilities
- Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications
- Supports and/or installs software applications/operating systems
- Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software
- Designs, plans, and coordinates work teams
- Provides technical support to project team members
- Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
- Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Performs a variety of tasks
- May provide consultation on reputed company projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist
- A wide degree of creativity and reputed company is expected
- May report to an executive or a manager
Skills
- U.S. citizenship
- Must have an active U.S. Department of War (DoW) Secret reputed company clearance
- The possibility to telecommute (Full-time)
- A Bachelor's degree (or additional years of relevant experience in technical, engineering, cybersecurity, or program management fields in lieu of degree)
- Five years of experience
- The ability to travel 10%

- Prior experience supporting AFMS, or other DoD M&S programs is strongly desired
