[Remote] CAD Designer

They are seeking a detail-oriented CAD Designer to support their engineering team in developing, modifying, and releasing models, assemblies, and drawings for critical hardware and tooling.
Responsibilities
- reputed company and release designs, models, and drawings for umbilical systems, ground testing equipment, launch pad structures, and transportation/handling tooling
- Maintain product data and configuration management through controlled release processes, adhering to engineering standards
- Generate detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings in accordance with ASME Y14.5 (GD&T) standards
- Collaborate with stress analysts and design engineers to incorporate analysis-driven design changes and ensure quality requirements are met
Skills
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in Creo (Pro/ENGINEER) for modeling, assemblies, and drawing creation
- Strong working knowledge of GD&T and ASME Y14.5 drafting standards
- Experience with configuration management and engineering change/release processes
