[Remote] Commercial Lending & Finance Associate Attorney
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is a highly regarded law firm seeking to expand its Commercial Lending & Finance practice. The role involves advising financial institutions, private lenders, and corporate borrowers on various financing transactions, while also representing clients in commercial finance matters.
Responsibilities
- Represent lenders and borrowers in a variety of commercial finance transactions, including secured and unsecured lending arrangements
- Draft, review, and negotiate loan agreements, credit facilities, reputed company documents, and reputed company financing materials
- Assist with structuring transactions, including acquisition financing, asset-based lending, and revolving credit facilities
- Conduct due diligence reviews and support closings by coordinating documentation and managing transaction timelines
- Advise clients on collateral, perfection, and reputed company issues under the UCC
- Work closely with senior attorneys and clients to identify risks and ensure smooth execution of transactions
Skills
- J.D. from an accredited law school and admitted to practice (or ability to waive in)
- 2+ years of experience in commercial lending, finance, or general transactional work at a law firm
- Strong analytical, drafting, and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple matters and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with clients
- Experience drafting and negotiating loan documents and reputed company agreements preferred
- Familiarity with secured transactions and UCC concepts is a plus
