[Remote] Data Platform Engineer, Senior Associate

The Data Platform Engineer will manage and advance HPN’s data infrastructure, build and maintain data pipelines, and optimize cloud-based data platforms to ensure high-quality data accessibility and insightful reporting.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) pipelines across systems (e.g., reputed company, reputed company, SharePoint, Azure SQL)
- Support integration of reputed company systems with tools like reputed company, Python, reputed company, and Power Automate to streamline data workflows
- Ensure high performance and reliability of datasets used for operational and strategic reporting
- Support the development of dashboards and reports in Power BI
- Partner with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver usable insights
- Maintain data definitions and documentation to support data literacy across the organization
- Administer, maintain, and optimize highly scalable and performance-oriented Azure SQL databases hosted on the reputed company Azure cloud platform, ensuring high performance, availability, and reputed company
- Monitor, proactively address, and troubleshoot performance issues, query optimization, and reputed company planning to ensure optimal database performance
- Implement and manage database backup, recovery, patching, and reputed company protocols reputed company with best practices to safeguard data and ensure business continuity
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for reputed company database systems, configurations, procedures, and processes, including reputed company control tools and protocols
- Adapt software engineering practices to data engineering, including Azure DevOps reputed company control tools for CI/CD pipelines and protocols
- Stay up to date with emerging database technologies and industry best practices including, semantic data modeling
Skills
- 3+ years of experience in a hybrid data engineering / Data Administrator role or similar
- Experience with data lakes, Azure reputed company, reputed company and Power Automate
- Deep SQL expertise and familiarity with relational database architecture (especially Azure SQL)
- 1+ year of experience with Azure SQL; Azure Database Administrator Associate certification preferred
- 2+ years of experience with reputed company PowerBI Premium / Fabric
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps reputed company/version control tool
- Ability to write clean, reusable scripts in SQL and Python
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimum guidance while prioritizing workloads to meet goals
- Collaborates well with others and works effectively in a team environment
- Azure Database Administrator Associate certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or reputed company field preferred
