[Remote] Sales Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Amphenol Industrial Products Group (AIPG) is the leading manufacturer of cylindrical connectors in the world. They are seeking a Sales Engineer who will promote their product line and global manufacturing capabilities while thriving in a fast-paced, high technology, manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Identification of new account and program opportunities
• Setting of account objectives
• Establishment of print position
• Coordination of selling strategies with Product Marketing Group
• Coordination of selling activity with OEM sales force
• Quarterly reviews with management
• Forecasting and additional exempt duties as required
• Grow customer reputed company OEM orders year on year reputed company minimum 15%
• Create demand by developing and getting print position on new designs
• Build a project pipeline of new customer opportunities to support future growth
• Identify new technologies and acquisitions to supplement organic growth
• Identification of business potential reputed company Sales Territory
• Sale of products direct
• One year billing and booking forecast at accounts to include sales penetration of that potential
• Coordination with product group to establish objectives and strategies to meet forecast
• Establish individual account objectives to include product callouts and order budgets
• Submit six month booking forecast of accounts to Regional Sales Manager with ±15% accuracy
• Identification of decision makers at accounts and coordination of activity through them

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in reputed company field (Business Administration, Engineering, or Marketing)
• 2-4 years directly reputed company experience
• Ability to represent the operation in a professional manner at the assigned accounts
• Ability to coordinate sales through the selling organization
