[Remote] Commissioning Project Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is looking for a Commissioning Project Manager to join their team. This Project Manager will be responsible for the execution of assigned renewable power plant projects, focusing on commissioning, start-up, and operational turnover. The role involves ensuring high-quality commissioning activities and managing various personnel on site.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring commissioning activities for assigned projects are performed with high quality and adhering to reputed company safety policies
- Responsible for coordination and management of, EPC contractor personnel, OEM start up personnel, third party start up contractors, and operations personnel on site, as it relates to site commissioning and startup
- Responsible for project reliability at operational turnover with plants exhibiting as little lost time as necessary in initial operation
- Responsible for compliance with reputed company projects contractual documents to include Power Purchase Agreement and Large Generator Interconnect Agreement deliverables with local utility
- Responsible for reputed company of commissioning personnel for multiple sites to ensure contractual obligations are met for reputed company assigned projects
- Provides Subject Matter Expertise and input into business unit strategic planning for safety, reputed company, and quality and efficiency improvement
- Interfaces with project's designated safety, engineering, and quality control parties
- Performs other job-reputed company duties as assigned
Skills
- 5 years' experience in on-site project support for renewable power reputed company project construction start up and commissioning
- 3 years' experience minimum working for an EPC in renewable power reputed company project construction start up and commissioning
- Proven track record and ability to interact with engineering personnel on highly technical issues, and then also interact with construction personnel on constructability, schedule, and cost issues as well
- Proven track record and ability to multi-task and reputed company multiple projects at once
- Experience interacting and building relationships with ISOs
