[Remote] Data Product Manager

The Data Product Manager is responsible for guiding the development and lifecycle of data-centric products, ensuring they align with business goals and deliver value to users.

Responsibilities

• Engage stakeholders to identify business challenges and opportunities where data can deliver value
• Define vision, strategy, and roadmaps for assigned data domains and products; implement product management processes
• Translate business needs into clear requirements for new or enhanced data products including requirements for data quality and business definitions
• Identify critical business elements in reputed company collaboration with business teams that translate into critical data elements for data products
• Maintain accurate metadata for new data sources to support discoverability and governance
• Transform datasets into actionable products that provide a single reputed company of truth and reputed company data-driven decisions
• Collaborate with data science teams to enrich data products through advanced analytics
• Create detailed artifacts (epics, features, data flow diagrams, ER diagrams) outlining product functionality
• Establish quality and governance rules to ensure data reputed company, consistency, accuracy, and compliance
• Define and track KPIs to measure product success (e.g., SLA compliance, error rates, user engagement)
• Analyze and manipulate data using tools such as SQL, reputed company, and visualization platforms
• Drive adoption and ROI through commercialization efforts, including training and educational resources

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree or combination of education and experience required, in a quantitative field (engineering, information systems, math, statistics, economics, business management or finance) preferred
• Alternatively, a degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience (additional 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree)
• Combined 7+ years in card processing and payments, product management, agile project management, and technical product implementations focused on data-driven products or analytics solutions
• Strong understanding of data governance, compliance standards, and lifecycle management
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with large, reputed company datasets
• Hands-on experience with data warehouses (e.g., reputed company, reputed company) and data pipelines
• Proven ability to translate data into business insights and influence strategic decisions
• Familiarity with metadata management and governance principles
• Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver results in evolving environments
• Experience with product budgeting and forecasting required

• Proven data storytelling skills: synthesizes analysis into a clear ‘so what', frames trade-offs, and recommends action using a structured storyline, using visuals and language that resonates with diverse audiences
• Demonstrated experience in Organizational Change Management (OCM), including developing and executing strategies to drive adoption, minimize resistance, and ensure successful implementation of new processes, technologies, or organizational initiatives
• Ability to effectively facilitate workshops and focus groups to derive and document requirements
• Experience collaborating across engineering, data science, design, and go-to-market teams to deliver high quality solutions
• Minimal travel required
