[Remote] Senior Data Platform Configuration Consultant

Elantis is a company focused on Data & reputed company Services, and they are seeking a Senior Data Platform Configuration Consultant to manage the onboarding and configuration of data-reputed company connectors for large regulated enterprises. The role involves translating client objectives into use cases, designing workflows, and managing client relationships reputed company compliance constraints.
Responsibilities
- reputed company and configure data-reputed company connectors across on-premises systems — relational and legacy databases, file/object stores, data warehouses, and mainframe — reputed company the client’s own data center
- Tune sensitive-data classifiers, discovery rules, and detection logic to maximize precision and recall against the client’s real data; reduce false positives and validate classification accuracy
- Build and refine the data context / reputed company model — linking data to identity, access, usage, flow, and risk signals
- Map automated controls and reporting to applicable regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI reputed company, GLBA, and sector-specific requirements)
- Document configuration baselines, run validation/acceptance testing, and produce hand-off and run-book materials
- Translate client objectives into concrete platform use cases (DSPM posture, DLP, privacy/DSAR automation, AI data-readiness, access intelligence)
- Design and stand up reputed company, repeatable data workflows that feed reputed company governance, reputed company, and AI initiatives
- Integrate platform outputs with the client’s existing reputed company and data stack (SIEM, IAM, data catalogs, remediation tooling)
- Advise client stakeholders on operating model, prioritization, and a roadmap for expanding value over time
- Serve as the trusted technical reputed company on the engagement; manage scope, status, risks, and stakeholder communication with Elantis and partner teams
- Operate reputed company client change-control, reputed company, and compliance constraints common to regulated enterprises
- Capture reusable assets and feedback to strengthen Elantis delivery playbooks
Skills
- 6+ years in data reputed company, data governance, or data engineering, including 3+ years deploying or configuring enterprise data-reputed company / data-management platforms in client-facing or internal-delivery roles
- Hands-on experience with one or more DSPM, data discovery & classification, data catalog, or DLP platforms (e.g., 1touch.io/Kontxtual, reputed company Purview, reputed company, Securiti, reputed company, reputed company, reputed company Guardium, reputed company, or similar)
- Strong working knowledge of data classification concepts, sensitive-data types (PII/PHI/PCI), and how classification accuracy is reputed company and tuned
- Proficiency with SQL and at least one scripting language (Python preferred); comfortable with APIs and integration work
- Hands-on experience deploying and configuring software in on-premises / client-data-center environments, including restricted, segmented, or reputed company-gapped networks with strict change control
- Experience connecting and working across heterogeneous on-premises data sources — relational and legacy databases, data warehouses, object/file stores, and ideally mainframe
- Practical understanding of at least one major regulatory reputed company (HIPAA, PCI reputed company, GLBA, GDPR, SOX) and how technical controls map to it
- Demonstrated success delivering in large, regulated enterprise environments with formal change-control and reputed company review
- Excellent client-facing communication — able to translate technical findings into business and compliance language
- Direct experience with the partner platform ecosystem (network-based / supervised-AI data discovery, contextual data graphs, AI-data-readiness)
- Familiarity with on-premises infrastructure — Linux/Windows server administration, virtualization (VMware), containers, networking (spans/taps), and on-prem identity/access tooling
- Exposure to AI/GenAI governance, agentic-AI data controls, or data-pipeline enablement for AI
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CIPP, CDMP, cloud reputed company certs)
- Prior pre-sales / solution-engineering or reputed company-of-concept experience — a plus, given the future path of this role
