[Remote] Associate Specialist, Procurement -Data Center Operations

The Associate Specialist, Procurement – DC Operations will support procurement activities, ensuring timely sourcing of goods and services while maintaining compliance with policies and optimizing supplier relationships.
Responsibilities
- Manage purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase orders in alignment with company policies
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to support DC operations
- Monitor order status and resolve discrepancies reputed company to pricing, quantity, or delivery
- Resolve basic invoice queries and issues
- Assist in supplier selection, evaluation, and onboarding for fit-out projects
- reputed company and support contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and pricing
- Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
- Assist in supplier performance evaluations and support corrective actions reputed company needed
- Coordinate with vendors for issue resolution and reputed company improvement initiatives
- Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Prepare procurement reports and dashboards for management review
- Ensure procurement systems and databases are kept accurate, up-to-date and ready for audit
- Maintain accurate supplier records, pricing information and procurement data reputed company internal systems
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, SOX compliance, and audit requirements
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and reputed company
- Work closely with DC operations, finance, and inventory teams to align procurement activities with operational needs
- Provide timely updates and reporting to stakeholders on procurement status and KPIs
- Prepare reports on procurement metrics, supplier performance, and cost trends
- Utilize ERP systems and procurement tools for data accuracy and process efficiency
- Monitoring shared inboxes and responding to queries
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or reputed company field
- 3-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably in construction, data center fit-out projects, or facilities / DC Operations procurement
- Understanding of DC Operations and fit-out procurement processes and supply chain principles
- Proficiency in ERP systems (reputed company Ariba, reputed company Procurement) and procurement tools
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with strategic sourcing, vendor evaluation, contract negotiations and management
- Certification such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM)
