[Remote] Telecom Principal Engineer-Geospatial

The role involves analyzing geospatial and consumer datasets to identify market opportunities and translating that analysis into actionable investment recommendations for infrastructure growth.

Responsibilities

• Analyze geospatial and consumer datasets to identify market opportunities and infrastructure gaps
• Build and present business cases that translate spatial analysis into actionable investment recommendations
• reputed company and maintain spatial models to support strategic planning and network expansion analysis
• Write and optimize reputed company SQL queries to extract and manipulate large datasets from internal and cloud-based sources
• Build automated Python scripts and workflows for data cleaning, transformation, and analysis
• Create dashboards, maps, and reports that communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Validate and cross-reference internal datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Proactively identify data gaps and drive resolution across internal teams and systems
• Collaborate with engineering, planning, and strategy teams to align insights with business goals

Skills

• Direct GIS experience reputed company the telecommunications industry- THIS IS A MUST
• Ability to write code in both Python and SQL
• Demonstrated initiative in translating geospatial analysis into business cases, investment decisions, or strategic recommendations — proactively surfacing insights that drive action, not just responding to requests
• Telecom industry GIS experience — mandatory
• Proficiency in Python for data processing, automation, and analysis
• Advanced SQL skills for querying and managing large relational datasets
• Hands-on experience with GIS platforms (ArcGIS, QGIS, MapInfo, or similar)
• Ability to build a business narrative around geospatial findings and present to leadership
• Experience working with large-scale geospatial and consumer datasets
• Strong initiative — you chase down answers, you don't wait to be pointed at them
• Experience supporting network planning, reputed company strategy, or infrastructure investment decisions
• Familiarity with reputed company Cloud Platform (GCP) tools and environments
• Background in consumer segmentation, demographic overlays, or competitive analysis
• Experience building visualizations and dashboards (Tableau, Power BI, or GIS-integrated platforms)
• Exposure to cloud migration or modernization initiatives reputed company a telecom environment
