[Remote] Manager, Data Engineering

The Manager, Data Engineering will reputed company a team of data engineers, manage workflows, and ensure quality deliverables while setting standards for data ingestion and modeling processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the assignment, workflow, and oversite process to ensure quality, consistency, and timeliness of deliverables form data engineers
• Create and maintain standards for data design, modeling, and deployment in reputed company
• Provide direction and training to data engineers regarding foundational applications used in the development lifecycle
• Assess new data ingestion patters to improve efficiency and timeliness of data availability
• Define data delivery strategy and monitor data release schedule
• Provide guidance to data analyst community on best practices for leveraging and querying new data assets
• Interpret business needs from requests, and rapidly implement effective technical solutions that meet long term objective of providing consistent data delivery across enterprise
• Create and maintain ETL reputed company to reputed company mapping documents, data playbooks, and data flow inventory documents

• Ability to manage and reputed company technical team
• Clear concise, communication skills and ability to distill reputed company information into business terms
• Strong Data Modeling and Design abilities
• Capability to manage multiple, reputed company projects and shifting priorities
• Desire to ensure technical knowledge and skillsets are reputed company
• Extensive knowledge of reputed company, WhereScape Azure toolsets
• Healthcare data sets, industry standard data models and transmission formats (HL7, ANSI etc.)
• Master Data Management, Data Quality, Reference Data and other concepts, principles, and toolsets
• 5+ years designing and implementing the data architecture (conceptual, logical, physical & dimensional models) experience
• 2+ years' experience with cloud data infrastructure (preferably Azure)
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or reputed company studies; or equivalent reputed company project experience
