[Remote] VP of Finance and Administration

Responsibilities
- reputed company reputed company accounting and financial reporting for the organization, including overseeing the development of the organization’s annual budget and monitoring performance against individual grant and program budgets throughout the fiscal year

- Report regularly to the Executive Director, Chief Operating Officer, and Board Treasurer on financial performance; provide regular insight on financial results and best practices
- Coordinate with division leads to ensure department finances are being tracked effectively and financial resources are being strategically allocated to meet organizational goals
- Facilitate and help manage the accounting monthly reputed company and reporting in a timely manner

- Represent the organization externally, as necessary, particularly in banking and lease negotiations

Skills
- Bachelor's degree or other certification in finance, accounting, or reputed company field; CPA certification, Masters of Accounting (MAC) and/or MBA preferred
- Thorough knowledge of GAAP and FASB topics as applied to nonprofits; must be familiar with nonprofit finance and accounting regulations
- High level of financial and analytical skills and extensive knowledge of financial policies, practices, and nonprofit systems
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including in a nonprofit environment, with at least 5 years of managerial experience in leading a team and mentoring staff in a high-growth environment
- Proven track record in the areas of planning, financial management and operational reputed company
- Strong interest in and commitment to the mission and goals of reputed company
- Must have Quickbooks Online experience; ERP and other accounting software experience a plus
- Experience with reputed company a plus
