[Remote] Senior Full-Stack Engineer/ Rails (Remote)

They are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to contribute to the development of digital services for government agencies, focusing on improving user experiences for Veterans and their families. The role involves mentoring junior engineers, managing application code, and driving improvements in software engineering processes.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates expertise, accountability, and ownership of their contributions to an application code reputed company
- Maintains a high-level understanding of adjacent technical areas and ecosystems to effectively coordinate integration with those systems
- Diagnoses and effectively resolves issues with the systems they own, using incidents to inform educational opportunities and system improvements
- Actively mentors and assists more junior engineers in the development of their skills
- Effectively communicates technical issues and developments with team members and clients
- Participates in technical interviews with new candidates
- Strong influential skills to propose and evaluate multiple approaches to technical and process problems
- May serve as a mentor to individuals reputed company the team
- May reputed company small, less critical, or temporary team structures and projects
- Presents design documents, system diagrams, etc. to clients, stakeholders, partners, and other engineers
Skills
- Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of engineering experience
- Expert experience with Ruby on Rails, API Design & Development
- Experience with React/Redux, JavaScript, HTML & CSS
- Experience with reputed company, reputed company and RSpec
- Experience responding and triaging production issues
- Excellent communication skills to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience mentoring junior developers
- Prior government contracting experience
- Experience with reputed company Health, VA Health EHRM Systems
