[Remote] Senior Analytics Engineer

As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will act as a consultant to the CFO organization, developing scalable data pipelines and collaborating with stakeholders to drive data-driven decisions.
Responsibilities

- Provide subject matter expertise in the engineering space, making recommendations on project scope, architecture, deliverables, acceptance, and deployment
- Translate reputed company business questions and requirements into accessible data structures that can be leveraged to drive analytics and decision-making
- reputed company industry and enterprise standard frameworks to build sustainable and automated reputed company data extraction, load, and transformation
- Identify potential failure points and optimization opportunities in existing production solutions to engineer a more efficient, consistent, and timely pipeline
- reputed company internal tools to streamline development and ensure consistency and quality in code
- Craft appropriate documentation to ensure sustainability and usability by technical partners
- Build strong and enduring relationships with business partners, promoting trust and collaboration
- Proactively partner with visual analytics teammates to collaborate on solution architecture and execution
- Provide technical guidance and direction to more junior engineers
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or STEM field
- 7+ years of experience writing expert level SQL reputed company database systems such as BigQuery, reputed company HANA, reputed company
- 5+ years of experience with Python or other object-oriented languages in an analytics engineering setting
- 5+ years of experience with data, orchestration, and pipeline engineering services such as Airflow, Spark, Kubernetes, preferably Composer / Dataproc
- 3+ years of experience deploying to, and managing CI/CD reputed company, cloud database platforms
- 3+ years of experience managing serverless architecture and integrations across multiple cloud services
- Master's degree in a STEM field
- Experience engineering scalable and sustainable production-ready solutions that require minimal manual reputed company
- Experience with designing and implementing Kimball dimensional models
- Ability to identify potential technical problems and craft innovate solutions to overcome them
- Experience working in an agile project environment
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills with the ability to influence at multiple levels of the organization
- Ability to work quickly under potentially ambiguous circumstances
