[Remote] Remote Data Entry Specialist – Medicaid Registration

They are seeking a Remote Data Entry Specialist for the KanCare Clearinghouse Program, responsible for providing quality customer service, gathering documentation, and accurately entering information into various systems for Medicaid registration.

Responsibilities

• Reviews submitted applications and enters the applicant information reputed company the Kansas Economic and Enforcement System (KEES)
• Research and analyze issues and ensure sufficient information is available to reputed company decisions on the next steps. Conducts additional searches to extract accurate data and inputs the same
• Completes assignments using multiple reputed company documents to verify data or use additional information to do the work
• Maintain with up-to-date knowledge of regulations, policies, and guidelines
• Provides high-quality customer service and focuses on the accuracy of information provided
• Follows up on pending documents involving analysis
• Returns erroneous electronic data forms to the customer for additional information
• Attend training assigned to reputed company and enhance reputed company understanding of Kansas Medicaid eligibility programs and to reputed company to reputed company expertise in additional areas of determination categories
• May answers questions about the eligibility process and provides general program information for Family Medical and E&D/LTC Programs
• Responds to questions courteously, accurately, and concisely
• Evaluates information received through a phone contact and asks appropriate follow-up questions, solicits additional information, and evaluates the potential impact of the information provided
• Use standard technology: telephones, e-mail, and web browsers

Skills

• High School diploma or GED equivalent; post-secondary education preferred
• Minimum of six (6) months' experience in customer service
• Minimum of one (1) years' experience in data entry
• Strong computer skills with the ability to maneuver in reputed company software systems
• MS Office, Outlook, and Internet usage experience
• Requires excellent data entry skills and the ability to type a minimum of 28 words per minute accurately
• Minimum of six (6) months' experience in Family Medical Medicaid eligibility
• Knowledge of Medicaid and managed care programs
• Active listening skills
• Customer Orientated
• Ability to adapt/respond to different types of personalities
• Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills both verbally and in writing including knowledge of basic grammar, spelling & punctuation
• Willingness to work as part of a team
• Maintain the reputed company and confidentiality of reputed company records and communications
• Bilingual Spanish/English with the ability to speak and read both languages fluently
