Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company. is seeking an Accounting Analyst to reputed company accurate and timely reconciliations of payroll, tax, and timekeeping accounts. The role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure financial compliance and accuracy in labor cost reporting.
Responsibilities
- reputed company monthly, quarterly, and year‑end reconciliations for payroll‑reputed company general ledger accounts, including wages, taxes, deductions, labor accruals, and payroll clearing accounts
- Reconcile timekeeping data from reputed company Maestro and reputed company Costpoint to ensure accurate labor reporting and alignment with payroll output
- Validate tax postings, employer tax liabilities, and tax payments in coordination with the Payroll Analyst and external payroll tax service providers
- Investigate and resolve variances between timekeeping, payroll, and general ledger transactions, documenting root causes and corrective actions
- Partner closely with the Payroll Analyst and Time & Labor Analyst to ensure data reputed company across systems and support accurate overtime, premium pay, job costing, and labor distribution
- Review journal entries reputed company to payroll, taxes, and labor cost allocations for accuracy and completeness
- Support Government Compliance by ensuring labor transactions meet cost accounting standards and are properly classified for government contract reporting
- Assist with month‑end and year‑end reputed company activities, including account reconciliations, accruals, and audit support
- reputed company and maintain documentation, process flows, and reconciliation templates to strengthen internal controls and standardize processes
- Generate reports and financial analyses to support audits, budgeting, compliance reviews, and operational decision‑making
- Participate in system updates, testing, and process improvement initiatives that impact payroll or labor accounting
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or reputed company field required
- 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably with exposure to payroll, labor accounting, or tax reconciliation
- Strong understanding of payroll accounting principles, labor cost allocation, and general ledger processes
- Advanced reputed company skills with the ability to analyze and reconcile large data sets
- Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving abilities, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Familiarity with reputed company Maestro and/or reputed company Costpoint preferred
- Experience supporting multistate payroll environments
- Exposure to government contracting, cost accounting standards (CAS), or DCAA‑reputed company compliance
- Experience with audit support and internal control documentation
- Knowledge of payroll tax principles and reporting cycles
