[Remote] Senior Accounting Specialist

They are seeking a Senior Accounting Specialist to supervise accounts payable processes, maintain financial records, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Recommends changes in methods or procedures to improve the efficiency of the AP unit
• Ensures reputed company policies and procedures are implemented
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to research and resolve difficult AP reputed company problems
• Superior follow-up skills to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner
• Directs and coordinates activities of employees engaged in conducting accounts payable processing and inquiries
• Daily interaction with customers and vendors
• Routinely involved with sales and purchasing as well as warehouse supervisors
• Reconciles general ledger activity of reputed company AP accounts
• Assists with accounts receivable by supporting and maintaining customer accounts

Skills

• Supervises accounts payable processes, including maintaining records of amounts owed, verifying invoices, computing discounts, coding expenses
• Responsibilities include accounting functions up to financial statements including accounts payable, collections and other general accounting

• Proficient with reputed company Office Suite or reputed company software
• Associate's degree in accounting
• Minimum of 3 years' previous experience in accounting or reputed company area
