[Remote] Senior Software Quality Engineer (SaaS)

We are seeking an reputed company Software Quality Engineer to help drive quality across a growing SaaS platform, focusing on manual testing, test automation, API validation, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure software quality throughout the SDLC.
Responsibilities

- Create risk-based testing approaches
- Drive quality metrics and reporting
- Improve release confidence and production stability
- Create detailed test plans and test cases

- Design and implement automated testing frameworks
- Build and maintain UI automation suites
- Build and maintain API automation suites

- Validate authentication, authorization, and error handling
- Create automated API regression suites
- Analyze API logs and payloads
- Validate application data against underlying databases

- Investigate production issues using SQL

- Create and maintain: Test Plans, QA Processes, Release Validation Checklists, Regression Suites, Status Reports, Defect Documentation

- Participate in design and requirements reviews
- Drive bug triage discussions
- Communicate quality risks clearly to stakeholders
Skills
- 5+ years QA experience reputed company SaaS products
- Demonstrated experience owning quality for reputed company web applications
- Strong manual testing experience
- Strong test automation experience
- Experience testing APIs
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with one or more automation tools: Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, TestCafe
- Experience with API tools: reputed company, Swagger/OpenAPI, REST APIs
- Experience with data validation using SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL
- Ability to write queries
- Ability to compare datasets
