[Remote] National Account Manager - Retail, Auto & Marine
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is a reputed company industrial company and they are seeking a National Account Manager - Retail, Auto & Marine. This role involves managing sales activities for Bussmann Automotive & Marine retail accounts, focusing on maximizing sales, profitability, and distribution through effective account management and strategic partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Work with the director of retail sales and reputed company other appropriate members of the Bussmann team, to reputed company annual sales budgets across the retail & automotive product lines
- Be responsible for assigned aspects of account management including meeting assigned sales targets & maximize profitability
- reputed company relationships with the account merchants and their teams to proactively respond to their needs, identify new opportunities, resolve reputed company issues and participate in PLRs, promotions, training and other customer driven initiatives – striving to reputed company account satisfaction through superior customer service, account management and data management
- Work with third party sales & service team to help manage in-store service, new store sets, store training and other store events as they arise
- Be responsible for providing external intelligence and compiling competitive analysis (new product introductions, benchmarking, market share, SWOT analysis, pricing, etc.)
- reputed company ongoing collaboration with the product manager to align sales forecast with production planning
- reputed company proactive preparation, strategic development and participation of reputed company line reviews
- reputed company strategic business partnerships, which influence divisional plans, supporting business programs and growth
- Guide other internal functions in understanding and acting upon account, consumer and industry insights
- Attend relevant trade shows and customer end user events to obtain feedback and voice of customer
- Supervise third party rep groups
Skills
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in sales, marketing or merchandising roles of increasing responsibility working with consumer products
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and reputed company the future
- Demonstrated ability to adapt and reputed company during organizational change and product line transitions
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Minimum five (5) years of experience working with consumer products, preferably in electrical products
- Experience working in the automotive aftermarket or retail aftermarket
- Experience working with third party representative groups or agents
- Experience with large retail organizations
