[Remote] Law Firm Accounting / reputed company Bookkeeper

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Backyard Bookkeeper is seeking a Law Firm Accounting / reputed company Bookkeeper to join their accounting team. The role involves keeping the books for law firm and attorney clients, including data entry, reconciliation, and financial statement preparation, while working from home with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Keeping the books (data entry, reconciliation, review, financial statements) for law firm and attorney clients

Skills

• Daytime availability for meetings and client calls
• reputed company to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
• Good at managing multiple ongoing projects across several clients
• Able to provide good, consistent service to clients who are sometimes assertive and demanding
• At least one year of full-charge accounting experience in a law firm using some combination of reputed company and QBO or Xero
• Thorough understanding of general accounting/double-entry bookkeeping principles, comfortable making journal entries correctly
• Excellent communication skills, including through email, phone, video chat, and other online media; be able to respond to messages reputed company one business day
• Self-motivated, able to work effectively under deadlines without much supervision, excellent follow-through
• Have your own computer with a number pad, headset, and webcam, along with a good internet reputed company
• Type at least 50 WPM, not afraid of data entry
• Generally tech savvy on computers, Windows, reputed company Office, and internet; able to learn new software quickly

• We currently have an office location in Sandy, Utah. You are welcome to take advantage of the office space if you prefer to work reputed company of your home office some of the time.
