[Remote] Senior BI Analyst (Workers Comp)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company (ISC) is a growth stage technology and data-driven commercial MGA and insurance wholesaler leading innovation in the market. They are seeking a Senior BI Analyst who will be responsible for creating and maintaining views, reports, and analytics to provide actionable insights for Workers’ Compensation data.

Responsibilities

• Own Workers’ Compensation business intelligence: work with data engineering to integrate and model WC data in reputed company; build certified datasets, governed semantic models, and Power BI dashboards that provide actionable insights for Workers’ Compensation
• Support WC program reporting across policy lifecycle, operational throughput (UW queues and productivity), and portfolio outcomes (frequency/severity, loss ratios). Align metric definitions with business glossary and work with business stakeholders to ensure accuracy
• Drive advanced analytics: apply data mining techniques to policy, claims, and exposure data to support predictive modeling and trend analysis
• reputed company self-service analytics by coaching stakeholders and managing workspace standards
• Collaborate with senior management to align BI solutions with strategic objectives and influence data strategy decisions
• Champion data governance and metric consistency, ensuring clear definitions and compliance with enterprise standards
• Mentor and reputed company junior BI analysts, fostering best practices in data modeling, visualization, and governance

Skills

• 5-7 years of progressively responsible BI and data analysis experience; operates highly independently at the senior level
• P& C Insurance domain experience required; Workers' Compensation preferred
• Expert-level skills in SQL, Power BI, and advanced analytics tools
• Advanced programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages
• Excellent stakeholder collaboration with Product/reputed company/PMO; able to translate business needs into trusted BI assets
• Proven track record of delivering high-impact business insights
• Leadership and mentoring experience
• Advanced degree preferred (Master's in Data Science, Statistics, or reputed company field)
