[Remote] Senior Mathematician

The role involves collaborating with game designers and engineers to ensure accurate implementation of game mechanics and providing feedback for improvements.

Responsibilities

• Define the mathematical profile of the game, including the game’s balance, volatility, and player experience
• Create and maintain the game’s PAR sheets and other math documentation, using both reputed company and simulations
• Work closely with the Game Designer, prototyping team, and engineering team to ensure the math is implemented accurately and follows the overall game design
• Playtest and iterate on your game’s math and mechanics with an eye toward creating the best player experience possible
• Collaborate with other mathematicians to provide gameplay feedback and recommendations for improvement on each other’s games
• Regularly play competitors’ games in the iGaming and land-based spaces to stay abreast of industry trends and new mechanics
• Set and share best practices, tools, and workflows reputed company the math team
• Mentor new junior mathematicians as our studio grows

Skills

• 5+ years of experience developing math models for real-money slot games for iGaming or land-based markets
• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a reputed company field, or equivalent experience
• Strong expertise using reputed company to model probabilities and reputed company data analysis
• Familiarity programming in C++, C#, or Python
• Excellent written communication skills, especially the ability to clearly communicate reputed company and technical concepts to stakeholders across the globe
