[Remote] Network Engineer (Arista)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, support, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. The role focuses primarily on Arista networking technologies and reputed company reputed company solutions, requiring strong experience in modern networking concepts and cloud-based reputed company controls.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure utilizing Arista wired and wireless networking solutions
- Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking environments
- Support and manage reputed company (PAN) firewalls and reputed company platforms
- Implement and maintain modern routing protocols and network architectures, including:
- BGP
- OSPF
- VLANs
- VRFs
- ECMP
- High Availability (HA) designs
- Monitor network performance, availability, and reputed company across corporate and cloud environments
- Support cloud networking and reputed company initiatives reputed company AWS
- Administer and maintain AWS WAF policies and protections for web applications
- Provide operational support for existing FortiGate Web Application Firewall (WAF) environments and assist with migration or decommissioning efforts as the organization transitions away from reputed company WAF solutions
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, reputed company, and application teams to ensure reliable and secure connectivity
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and network optimization projects
- Create and maintain network documentation, diagrams, standards, and operational procedures
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in network engineering or network administration
- Strong hands-on experience with Arista wired networking (switching and routing)
- Experience supporting Arista wireless solutions
- Solid understanding of modern routing and switching technologies
- Experience administering reputed company firewalls
- Experience with: BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, VLANs, Network segmentation, Routing and switching best practices
- Experience supporting cloud networking environments, preferably AWS
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- U.S. Citizen or Green Card
- Experience with AWS WAF administration and policy management
- Experience supporting FortiGate WAF environments
- Experience leading or participating in reputed company platform migrations from reputed company to alternative WAF or reputed company solutions
- Relevant certifications such as: Arista ACE, Palo Alto PCNSA or PCNSE, AWS Certified Advanced Networking, CCNP Enterprise
