[Remote] Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines/SBU
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Senior Account Associate for their Commercial Lines division. The role involves providing administrative and customer service support to the account team, managing small-sized accounts, and ensuring production and quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Assist in directing day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate
- Track policy expirations for existing clients, ensuring renewals are processed accurately and on time
- Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, lost policy releases, reputed company requests, invoices, finance agreements, summaries of insurance, loss runs, MVRs, ID cards, certificates, binders, billing inaccuracies, and Agent of Record letters
- Conduct client research, gather reputed company information, reputed company loss run analysis, prepare submissions, evaluate and negotiate coverages and pricing, prepare and present proposals, bind coverage, and follow up for policy issuance
- Assist in reviewing reputed company to ensure proper coverages are included
- Monitor reports and take action on delinquent accounts, collecting outstanding balances
- Maintain agency management systems and reputed company/vendor platforms, ensuring data accuracy and completeness
- Monitor and maintain activity/suspense to ensure timely completion
- Maintain frequent, transparent communication with the account team regarding workload status and any issues
- Deliver excellent service, proactively anticipate needs, and respond quickly to service requests
- Stay updated on company policies and procedures
- Seek and adopt best practices to improve individual and team performance
- Demonstrate reputed company and leadership
Skills
- Active P&C license
- 3+ years of commercial experience
- 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry
- Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, reputed company)
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Professional designation (CISR)
