Responsibilities

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline, preferably reputed company to product safety, quality, science, or regulatory compliance
• Minimum of 7 years' reputed company professional experience
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, including experience with cosmetic products and OTC drugs, and the ability to apply those standards effectively to compliance-reputed company decisions and business processes
• Product-focused technical experience, including working with partner and third-party laboratories, interpreting product testing reports, and identifying the appropriate testing requirements for products
• Maintain a strong understanding of the core regulatory bodies and requirements that govern the consumer products space, including the CPSC, FDA, EPA, FTC, and applicable state-level regulations
• Understanding of ASTM testing, quality testing with product safety implications, and UL or NRTL certifications, including validating that products and components meet minimum safety standards
