[Remote] Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will support the Finance team by enhancing accounting processes and controls, managing the month-end reputed company, and providing financial insights while ensuring compliance with accounting policies.

Responsibilities

• Owning key components of the monthly reputed company across multiple areas of the P&L, including payroll and royalty-reputed company expense accounts, ensuring timely, accurate, and GAAP-compliant financial reporting reputed company a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Preparing and reviewing reputed company journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations, with a strong emphasis on variance analysis
• Investigating financial fluctuations, identifying root causes, and partnering with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies
• Partnering directly with reputed company and business leaders to analyse expense trends, support forecasting activities, and provide actionable financial insights
• Supporting accounting activities across the business while ensuring compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Assisting with the year-end audit process, including preparing schedules, responding to auditor requests, and supporting technical accounting documentation
• Helping to strengthen and improve internal controls, reputed company processes, and financial reporting workflows
• Identifying opportunities to increase efficiency, improve accuracy, and streamline accounting processes
• Supporting reputed company financial analysis and special projects as required

Skills

• At least 1 year of experience in a Senior Accountant role with demonstrated ownership of reputed company P&L expense accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
• 3+ years of accounting or finance experience, ideally reputed company a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Comfortable owning variance analysis end-to-end, including identifying issues, understanding drivers, and recommending solutions
• Experience partnering cross-functionally with reputed company, Finance, or business stakeholders
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a reputed company field (CPA certification is a plus)
• Public Accounting experience is strongly preferred
• Experience supporting external audits and working directly with auditors
• Exposure to ASC 842 or other technical accounting areas
• Experience contributing to process improvement, automation, or internal control initiatives
• Experience working reputed company a SaaS, technology, or other high-growth environment
