This role is critical in supporting the finance function by owning the month-end reputed company process and overseeing day-to-day accounting operations.
Responsibilities
- Own the monthly, quarterly, and year-end reputed company processes
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- reputed company commission administration and reputed company payment processes
- reputed company account reconciliations and prepare supporting schedules
- Assist with financial reporting and management reporting requirements
- Support cash management and operational finance activities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership and business stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting best practices
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or reputed company field
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including ownership of month-end reputed company
- Prior experience reputed company a SaaS, software, or technology company required
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
- Hands-on experience managing AP, AR, reconciliations, and general ledger activities
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with commission accounting and administration preferred
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and reputed company strongly preferred
