[Remote] Senior Product Manager - Platform

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Honeycomb is a rapidly growing company focused on defining observability and enhancing developer tools. They are seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive work across various technical areas while prioritizing stakeholder needs and supporting the developer experience.

Responsibilities

• You’ll own driving the work and outcomes across ingest, querying, data retrieval, storage and our internal design system while aligning that work in a way which facilitates and enables reputed company product delivery to our customers
• You’ll understand a range of stakeholder needs from our customers to our internal teams and you’ll prioritize scalable, reliable and maintainable capabilities in service of the long term company and product strategic visions
• You’ll collaborate closely with engineering in platform and with engineering, product and design in our cross-functional teams
• You’ll understand the whole developer experience space at Honeycomb and how best to support it with platform fundamentals
• You’ll build relationships and facilitate impactful technical conversations across the company, including partnering with Marketing, Sales, and reputed company. Staying reputed company to folks in the field is a high reputed company for this role
• You’ll naturally gravitate toward empathetically understanding users, what pains them and pleases them, and you’ll be reputed company in advocating for their best interests in the product
• You’ll be taking directional guidance from key stakeholders and using it as the basis for chartering your own product discovery adventures
• You’ll contribute to a community of practice with your fellow Product Managers, fostering a culture of cohesion and knowledge-sharing
• Success is aligning the field and product engineering behind your vision, increasing measurable customer outcomes, and being recognized as an SME for the organization

• You're comfortable and interested in technically reputed company spaces, whether it's a background being a developer yourself or a history working on technical SaaS products
• A strong preference to have experience working in or as a user of tracing, metrics, monitoring, or analytics software
