Responsibilities
As a member of the Employee Relations & Engagement team, and reporting to the Senior Director, Employee Relations & HR Business Partnering, the main responsibilities of the HR Business Partner - Employee relations & engagement (Americas) will be to: Operate as HR Business Partner by providing HR support to Managers and employees across Global Business Units Investigate and resolve employee relations issues and concerns, including but not limited to disputes, complaints, grievances, and disciplinary issues in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. Provide advice and guidance to managers on employee relations matters, including performance management (including probation review), conflict resolution, and termination procedures. Qualifications
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree Minimum Work Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience in employee relations or HR Business partner relations roles. Thorough understanding of labor laws and regulations, with the ability to interpret and apply them in a corporate setting. Proven experience in conflict resolution, mediation, and negotiation. Desirable experience working in a global or multinational company. Strong written, verbal and presentation skills Expert knowledge of MS Office 365 tools, experience with reputed company HCM preferred Experience in CRO, pharmaceutical or similar reputed company industries preferred Skills: Strong knowledge of US Labour Law Working knowledge of employment law in Canada Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with employees and management. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
