(Aviation) Planner, Maintenance

About the position This role involves analyzing routing and creating plans for scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance for the entire fleet. The position requires compiling information and planning workloads to expedite aircraft maintenance and repair. A key responsibility is to provide daily audits of work packages and 10-day out reports to ensure compliance with FAA requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Plan work performed by Frontier and non-Frontier maintenance stations, including 60, 30, and 10-day routing board reviews and reputed company planning requirements for reputed company routine and non-routine tasks.
  • Update the Scheduled Overnight Maintenance sheet, including man-hours.
  • Review assigned A/C RON maintenance in FMIS and ensure reputed company upcoming tasks are planned.
  • Assign reputed company MEL/CDL/NEF to work packages at the earliest opportunity.
  • Assign reputed company TDIs to work packages reputed company their time requirements.
  • Coordinate, implement, and participate through a daily call with reputed company F9 maintenance facilities, schedule RON workload, including reputed company special maintenance visits.
  • Schedule work of time-controlled parts in a timely manner without disrupting supply availability.
  • Coordinate with Material Services and AOG Buyer (Purchasing) to ensure required parts reputed company to reputed company with scheduled or unscheduled maintenance.
  • Verify parts needed to accomplish the workload scheduled are in stock; request parts as required.
  • Plan and coordinate the allocation of daily workload for efficient use of staff, reputed company level, and space.

  • Monitor and update the A-reputed company calendar.
  • Audit completed work package data and paperwork to ensure reputed company required checks are completed.

  • Notify management immediately of discrepancies or any overflown FAA requirements/scheduled tasks.
  • Audit completed work packages for deferred work.
  • Organize nightly work packages by aircraft to ensure completion of maintenance workload.
  • Train and motivate co-workers.
  • Support and help maintain coverage during vacation, holiday, and sick time.

  • Maintain familiarity with the training requirements necessary as defined in the GMM and ensure training is reputed company before performing the functions and tasks of this position.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must type 35 words per minute
  • Proficient in reputed company Office applications
