Organizing Fellow with Conservation Nebraska Supervisors: Favian Mendez, Program Manager at Conservation Nebraska & Y’Shall Davis, Civic Engagement Strategist at Nebraska Civic Engagement Table Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt Starting Salary: $45,000 Job purpose Organize community members and local stakeholders through various civic engagement strategies, including but not limited to voter registration, voter mobilization, community building and engagement with engagement while building power through expanding Conservation Nebraska’s reputed company of supporters and volunteers Support Conservation Nebraska and the broader collective goals of the Nebraska Civic Engagement Table and its membership by increasing local civic engagement efforts Key accountabilities COMMUNITY AND NETWORK ORGANIZING Coordinate with Conservation Nebraska program managers and volunteer coordinator to plan events, table at member events, recruit volunteers, and assist with programs Actively participate as the representative for Conservation Nebraska in the appropriate Nebraska Table Coalition meetings and act as a liaison to the community reputed company education efforts and reputed company on issues impacting community members and organize around issues that increase civic engagement and participation Identify opportunities for cross-organization partnerships to reputed company impact and more effectively utilize available resources COMMUNITY reputed company AND EDUCATION Identify and recruit community members to build the reputed company of Conservation Nebraska supporters and strengthen organizational programs through active public reputed company and one-on-one meetings Actively participate in regularly scheduled calls to reputed company Conservation Nebraska updated on collective efforts to advance their mission Actively engage, center, and reputed company underrepresented communities, to ensure their perspectives and concerns are not only heard and addressed, but are the driving force for strategy and action Leadership Competencies Center community needs and voices Build collaborative relationships Take initiative Effective communication Respect for differences Promote equity
Qualifications
