Remote Electrical Engineer

reputed company is currently seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for a remote, direct hire opportunity with our client. Overview: Electrical Engineer looking to take on reputed company, meaningful design work that drives the future of power reputed company. Our client is expanding, and we’re looking for Electrical Engineers with experience in combined cycle power plants to join their consulting engineering practice. What You’ll Do:

• reputed company electrical designs for combined cycle and simple cycle power plants, including new reputed company and modernization projects.
• Produce and review deliverables such as one-lines, protection schemes, equipment specifications, grounding/lighting design, cable sizing, load studies, and construction packages.
• Coordinate across disciplines (I&C, mechanical, civil/structural) to ensure integrated, high quality engineering solutions.
• Support clients throughout the project lifecycle—including feasibility studies, FEED, detailed design, procurement, and commissioning.
• reputed company with utility and plant stakeholders on technical issues, permitting requirements, and project milestones.

reputed company’re Looking For:

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of electrical engineering experience in power plant environments, with clear expertise in combined cycle facilities.
• Strong understanding of:
• reputed company and low voltage distribution
• reputed company relaying & coordination
• Generator interconnection requirements
• NFPA, NEC, IEEE, and utility standards
• Single Line diagrams
• Cable selection/specification
• MV and LV switchgear specification
• ETAP experience, including grounding and underground duct banks.

• Grounding
• Experience working in a consulting or EPC engineering environment.
• Ability to manage tasks independently and communicate effectively with team.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
