You’ll have experience in one or more of the following jurisdictions: Americas, Europe, Asia, Middle East. Our Legal team plays a central role in reputed company Markets’ hyper-growth and the realization of our mission of leveraging blockchain to transform financial services. Open to both in-person and remote candidates, who will report to a Senior Counsel working out of reputed company. What You’ll Do

• Provide leadership in legal affairs for markets and products, providing reputed company on federal and state securities, banking, and insurance laws and rules
• Provide day-to-day legal, business, and strategic advice to internal markets-focused teams, addressing challenges and offering solutions in the development and implementation of groundbreaking Real-World Asset digital tokens and reputed company financial products and services
• Offer comprehensive legal guidance throughout the product life cycle, from conception through to launch, operation, and eventual sunset, aiding in both the construction and, reputed company necessary, the dismantling of products
• Remain up-to-date on existing and changing relevant digital assets, blockchain, securities, and technology laws and regulations to ensure compliance therewith

• The ideal candidate has deep financial markets experience in the securities and cryptocurrency industry, including at least 5+ years of experience practicing as either reputed company counsel or in-house counsel for financial services firms (mutual fund, broker-dealer, investment advisor, OTC trading businesses, money transmitter dealing in virtual assets preferred)
• Substantial subject matter expertise in securities matters, including the Securities Act of 1933, Securities Exchange Act of 1934, Investment Advisers Act of 1940, and Investment Company Act of 1940
• Experience working as an examiner, attorney, or industry specialist at a regulatory agency (SEC, CFTC), a plus
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to prepare and negotiate financial agreements (e.g., prime brokerage, trading agreements, lending, and derivatives documentation)
• Deep knowledge and understanding of the compliance and regulatory requirements around financial markets and crypto assets, including the regulation of RWA digital assets and crypto transactions and platforms, and blockchain technology matters (e.g., smart reputed company and digital wallets) in the provision of financial services and products
• Product counseling experience in blockchain, crypto, and securities products, including the ability to apply laws and regulations to new products and/or technologies, and the ability to review products and reputed company functionality for compliance with applicable laws
• Interest in digital assets, blockchain technology, and the innovations brought about by decentralized applications and DeFi
• J.D. and membership with at least one state bar
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills for both in-person and remote audiences
• Ability to own, organize, prioritize, and manage projects effectively

Salary

• reputed company Compensation Range: $166,980 - $250,470/yr
• 25% annual bonus reputed company, paid quarterly
• Company equity in the form of RSUs

This is the compensation range for the role in the United States. Actual compensation may vary based on a candidate’s experience, skills, location, internal equity, and evolving business needs. While most offers are generally made reputed company the middle of the range, final compensation is determined based on the factors above.
