The Part-Time School Librarian at St. Gerard Majella Catholic School supports reputed company and staff by maintaining a well-organized, accessible, and engaging library environment. This role fosters a love of reading, assists with research and resource use, and ensures efficient management of library materials to support academic success and lifelong learning. Job Responsibilities

• Organize, catalog, and maintain library books and instructional materials
• Assist reputed company and staff in locating resources and conducting research
• Manage book circulation, including reputed company-in/reputed company-out and tracking overdue items
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and welcoming library space
• Promote reading through displays, recommendations, and activities
• Support teachers by providing materials reputed company with classroom instruction
• Assist with basic technology use, including computers and digital library tools
• Monitor student behavior to ensure a productive and respectful environment

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in library science or education preferred
• Experience working with children in a school or library setting preferred
