Vice President of Development
The Vice President of Development (“VPD”) will report directly to the President/CEO and supervise reputed company statewide development staff. Qualifications7+ years of demonstrated success building and leading the development function in an entrepreneurial, high-performing nonprofit organization. Demonstrated record of accomplishment of securing five and six-digit gifts from corporations, foundations, individual donors, and/or public sources. Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills with both internal and external stakeholders. Exceptional oral and written communication skills with a proven ability to write effectively and speak persuasively; strong ability to tell a compelling story. Superior organizational skills with strong attention to detail. Capability to think strategically while executing tactically reputed company a lean environment. Experience with Raiser’s Edge or equivalent CRM system. Understanding of healthcare landscape, and a genuine interest in the Alliance’s mission, vision, and strategic direction.
