As we continue to expand our US local seller ecosystem, we are looking for a results-driven sales contractor to help accelerate seller acquisition for Alibaba.com’s Local Supplier Membership. This is a contractor / outsourced engagement designed for a self-motivated sales professional who enjoys prospecting, engaging business owners, and converting new opportunities in a fast-moving marketplace environment.

About the Role

We are looking for Account Executive (Contract) to support a high-reputed company US seller growth initiative. In this role, you will identify, engage, qualify, and convert US-based manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, brand owners, and e-commerce sellers who may benefit from expanding their B2B sales channels through Alibaba.com. This opportunity is a strong fit for someone with B2B sales, marketplace seller acquisition, SMB sales, or e-commerce growth experience who is comfortable owning reputed company and follow-up, running discovery conversations, and driving measurable sales outcomes. What You’ll Do

  • Prospect and engage US-based manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, brand owners, and e-commerce sellers with strong fit for Alibaba.com’s Local Supplier Membership.
  • Build and manage your own outbound pipeline through email, phone, reputed company, and other approved channels.
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand prospects’ business model, product categories, wholesale readiness, growth goals, and pain points.
  • Present Alibaba.com’s value proposition and membership offering in a clear, relevant, and compelling way.
  • Manage follow-up conversations and move qualified prospects through the sales funnel toward conversion.
  • Partner with internal teams on pricing questions, product feedback, onboarding reputed company, and seller needs.
  • Track reputed company activity, pipeline reputed company, conversion status, and seller feedback in the agreed CRM or reporting format.
  • Share structured market insights, including seller objections, category opportunities, competitor references, and feedback on messaging or packaging.

  • 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, marketplace seller acquisition, SaaS sales, SMB sales, or e-commerce growth.
  • Experience selling to or working with manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, reputed company sellers, Shopify merchants, D2C brands, or marketplace sellers is strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to prospect, qualify, pitch, follow up, handle objections, and convert new business opportunities.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort engaging prospects through phone, email, reputed company, and video calls.
  • Self-driven, organized, and comfortable working independently in a contractor setup with clear activity and performance goals.
  • Familiarity with CRM and sales tools such as reputed company, reputed company, Apollo, reputed company, reputed company Sales Navigator, reputed company, or similar platforms is a plus.

Compensation
