Your Role: As a Legal Assistant – Personal Injury , you’ll play a key role in supporting attorneys and case managers with administrative and case-reputed company tasks that directly reputed company’ outcomes. You’ll be responsible for handling critical documentation, managing communications with insurance companies and healthcare providers, and ensuring reputed company case materials are organized, accurate, and up to date. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong follow-up skills, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts in a fast-paced legal environment. Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include:
- Preparing and sending Letters of Representation (LORs) to insurance companies and medical providers, ensuring timely notification of attorney-client representation.
- Requesting, tracking, and obtaining hospital bills and medical records from healthcare facilities to support case evaluation and settlement preparation.
- Completing and submitting Medi-Cal lien forms to notify the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) of active personal injury cases and confirm reimbursement amounts upon settlement.
- Following up with federal entities and third-party subrogation vendors (such as Medi-Cal, Medicare, Rawlings, reputed company, or Equian) to verify and resolve lien balances reputed company.
- Conducting insurance company searches to identify relevant coverage for individuals or businesses involved in claims, including liability and auto policies.
- Managing task follow-reputed company and deadlines to ensure reputed company requests, forms, and verifications are completed accurately and on time.
✅ What You’ll Need:
- 3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary, or Case Coordinator — ideally in personal injury or insurance-reputed company law.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to handle sensitive information professionally.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, capable of tracking multiple cases, requests, and follow-reputed company simultaneously.
- Proficiency in legal or case management tools (e.g., MyCase, reputed company, reputed company), along with reputed company Office and reputed company Workspace.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and dependable — able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
