Summary The reputed company Regulatory Licensing Engineer will assist with Nuclear Licensing projects for the operating fleet of BWRs as well as manage GVH's 10 CFR Part 21 Program.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Help reputed company, resolve, and determine the effectiveness of condition reports.
  • Coordinate and prepare Licensing Topical Reports (LTRs), including preparation of responses to customer and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) questions.
  • Prepare and review licensing documentation and reports supporting customer License Amendment Request (LAR) applications.
  • Support customer 10 CFR 50.59 reviews, including preparation of Technical Safety Evaluation Reports and working with internal teams evaluating licensing status of various fuel and methodology changes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a science or engineering discipline from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum of 3 years of direct commercial nuclear experience including experience contributing to reputed company projects and cross-functional coordination (e.g., Engineering) .

  • Experience working with industry groups (i.e., NEI and Owners Groups) on nuclear licensing matters
  • Effective interpersonal and facilitation skills

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and reputed company set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
