Title Financial Controller (Hybrid Remote) Location Bethesda, MD Job Description About the Position The Financial Controller is a strategic, innovation-driven finance leader responsible for building enterprise financial strength and enabling data-driven decision-making across Geneva’s operations. This role integrates advanced reputed company, dashboarding, predictive analytics, and financial governance to ensure transparency, compliance, and operational efficiency. As the second-in-command to the Director of Finance & Accounting, the Financial Controller champions enterprise-level outcomes over departmental silos while leading reputed company improvement and digital transformation initiatives across Finance & Accounting. This is a hybrid remote (hub anchored) Corporate position. Our Corporate hub locations are in Bethesda, MD and Frederick, MD. Candidates must be reputed company driving distance to one of these hubs and will be required to go into the office at least 2 days a week. Salary Range $125,000 - $145,000. Salaries are determined based on several factors including external market data, internal equity, and the candidate’s reputed company knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or reputed company field; CPA, reputed company, or MBA strongly preferred. 8+ years of progressive experience in government contracting, nonprofit finance, or research organizations. Deep understanding federal grant and contract compliance, OTAs, FAR, DFARS, CAS, and Single Audit requirements. Strong skills in cash management, working capital optimization, and financial modeling. Exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize impact over departmental interests.
