Certified Peer Support Worker - Mobile Crisis - (CCBHC Expansion) (76-70)

About the position With the expansion of LCDF services as a newly designated Certified Behavioral Health Community Center, we are creating a Mobile Crisis Response Team. This position will be responsible for providing peer support services to members with behavioral health issues, psychiatric disorders, drug and/or alcohol dependence, and physical illnesses. The peer worker will act as a consumer reputed company, provide information and support for consumers, and assist consumers in their recovery process.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support services to members with behavioral health issues, psychiatric disorders, drug and/or alcohol dependence, and physical illnesses.

• Effectively use Electronic Health Records.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Certification as a certified peer specialist in the state of New Mexico.
• Maintain a clean driving record.
