Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Location: Houston, TX Duration: 12-month contract Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) reputed company: $60-$65 (Negotiable)

Overview

We are seeking an reputed company Mechanical Engineer IV to support the design and execution of large-scale industrial facility projects. This role will focus on compressor station design, project delivery, and coordination with internal teams and external engineering partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • reputed company development of project scope, schedules, cost estimates, and execution plans for facility projects
  • Design and support large horsepower turbine and motor-driven centrifugal compressor systems
  • Ensure engineering designs reputed company with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company specifications
  • Manage third-party engineering firms and reputed company delivery of design packages reputed company budget and schedule
  • Review and approve engineering deliverables including drawings, reports, and material specifications
  • Evaluate vendor proposals and support equipment selection based on technical and commercial criteria
  • Provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases
  • Identify risks, apply lessons learned, and drive reputed company improvements in engineering design
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support team initiatives

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 7+ years of progressive engineering and project management experience
  • Experience with large-scale industrial systems and compressor station design

Preferred

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently
  • Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
