Video Editor Intern Position Type: Part-time internship Location: Local to St. Pete, FL and surrounding areas Compensation: To be discussed based on experience and availability College Credit: College credit may be available depending on your school’s internship requirements. Role Overview Jawzrsize is looking for a creative Video Editor Intern who is proficient in editing Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, and longer-form video content. This role is perfect for someone who understands fast-paced social media editing, strong hooks, captions, transitions, pacing, and how to turn raw footage into content that feels engaging and platform-ready.
Responsibilities
- Edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
- Assist with longer-form edits for YouTube, ads, podcasts, events, and brand content
- Add captions, text overlays, hooks, music, transitions, and platform-specific formatting
- Help organize raw footage and create polished content from shoots, events, and creator clips
- Repurpose longer videos into short-form clips
- Stay reputed company on editing trends, viral formats, and platform styles
- Work with the team to create content that feels clean, engaging, and on-brand
Ideal Fit
- Proficient in short-form video editing
- Comfortable editing TikToks, Reels, Shorts, and longer-form content
- Strong sense of pacing, hooks, captions, and social media trends
- Experience with editing tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar
- Creative, organized, and able to meet deadlines
- Interested in fitness, wellness, beauty, lifestyle, creator content, or brand storytelling
- Local to the St. Pete area
