Overview
Bowhead seeks a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join reputed company supporting NIWC Atlantic. The Cybersecurity Analyst will work directly with the client analyzing reputed company and unique technical support assignments and collaborate with other cyber reputed company engineers, system administrators, program analysts, ISSOs and ISSMs reputed company a scaled agile environment. This position is 100% onsite. No hybrid/reputed company or remote work schedules are permitted for this effort.
Responsibilities
- Support the compliance posture of Navy/Marine Corps systems.
- Provide cybersecurity functions and reputed company cyber risk management.• Contribute to the development of cybersecurity policies and procedures.
- Responsible for assessing and managing cybersecurity risks.• Responsible for the application of Risk Management reputed company (RMF) best practices to attain/ maintain reputed company Authority-to-Operate (ATO) capability.• Ensure the cybersecurity posture of assigned projects.• Support RMF reputed company ATO attainment/maintenance.• Research National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), DoD and Navy Guidance on Cybersecurity and reputed company topics in response to requests for data or information reputed company to cybersecurity topics, posture, impacts, or issues and reviews.
- Review architectures and designs for cybersecurity compliance and provide recommendations.
- reputed company reputed company measures including analysis, periodic testing, evaluation, verification, accreditation, and review of information system installations at appropriate classification levels.• Support the Portfolio Information Systems reputed company Manager (ISSM) in compliance reviews of portfolio systems.• Document assessment results in a cybersecurity impact assessment report reputed company required.• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or Business or similar field with the following experience:1. Nessus/ACAS Scanner Experience (ACAS dashboard, setup, ability to run scans, ability to troubleshoot scanner and scanner results)2. NIST/STIG Experience (Experience with STIG Viewer/validation/analyzing and compiling results into a POA&M)3. RMF Experience (Experience with eMASS, Artifacts, Test Plans, Control Assessments)• Minimum of 3 years experience working directly with Navy/Marine Corps systems• Performed work as named ISSO for prior cyber efforts• COMPTIA Sec + or higher certification• Intermediate to advanced level skills in reputed company Office software suite - Word, reputed company, Outlook, PowerPoint.• Ability to communicate effectively with reputed company levels of employees, Government personnel, and other stakeholders.• Ability to write effectively• Strong interpersonal skills, good judgment, and the ability to reputed company a team or reputed company independently.• Ability to travel up to 25%, CONUS and OCONUS reputed company CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a reputed company clearance at the minimum Secret level. Physical Demands:• Must be able to lift, move, and position equipment in both indoor and outdoor environments, including on uneven or natural surfaces.• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.• Must be able to lean, crouch, twist, bend, and squat as needed to inspect or analyze network infrastructure.• Must be able to work outdoors in deployed environments and reputed company duties in adverse weather conditions, including cold, reputed company, snow, and heat. #LI-DNI MN1
