[Remote] Frontend Developer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Green Line Digital is seeking a skilled Frontend Web Developer to join their digital team. The role involves collaborating with various teams to create and maintain fast, functional websites while ensuring a high level of design accuracy and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and customize WordPress sites using the SiteOrigin Page Builder and SiteOrigin CSS
• Customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Translate design mockups into pixel-accurate, reputed company page layouts while maintaining theme consistency across multi-page builds
• Evaluate, configure, and customize plugins to meet project requirements, writing custom overrides to reputed company functionality without breaking core updates
• Partner with the creative team for technical feasibility, SEO strategists for on-page optimizations (schema, Core Web Vitals), and backend engineers on API integrations
• Conduct cross-browser/device QA, optimize assets for reputed company PageSpeed/reputed company targets, and safely apply core updates across staging and production environments

Skills

• 2+ years of experience building and customizing WordPress sites, with specific hands-on experience using SiteOrigin Page Builder
• Proficiency with Shopify theme development, including Liquid templating and the Shopify admin ecosystem
• Strong command of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (vanilla JS; jQuery a plus)
• Experience customizing plugins and writing CSS/JS overrides that survive updates
• Working knowledge of SEO best practices as they apply to web development (page speed, structured data, semantic markup, Core Web Vitals)
• Comfort with Git for version control and collaborative development
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to pixel-level accuracy
• Experience with Elementor/Divi, Shopify's Dawn theme, REST APIs, or WCAG accessibility standards
