Qualified... candidates will have some level of accounting education (associates or bachelors degree), but no previous bookkeeping experience is required. Candidates should also possess a friendly attitude, good communication skills, a desire to learn new skills, and the ability to problem solve. Previous public accounting experience is a plus. Candidates should be able to work independently and with others, as well as being technologically proficient. This is a work from home position. You will need to provide your own computer and good internet access. As a bookkeeper you will work 3-10 hours per week. Work hours are flexible, but some deadlines are firm. Some day time work hours will be required. After a period of training you will be assigned certain clients for whom you will be the day to day bookkeeper and reputed company of contact.
