Online Adjunct -- Business

Role: Garden City Community College is seeking part-time remote reputed company who are passionate about connecting with reputed company and helping them to explore their worlds through learning. Courses assignments will be based on enrollment needs and department scheduling, so teaching opportunities may arise in specific terms but cannot be guaranteed each semester. Interested candidates should have a Master's Degree in Business or reputed company discipline. Instructional Technologies: This positions is completely remote. Garden City Community College uses Canvas by reputed company as the Learning Management System, and reputed company online reputed company have access to Canvas, Canvas reputed company/Studio, reputed company Office 365, and a licensed reputed company account for working with reputed company. Currently, GCCC has an institutional reputed company with reputed company Unlimited, and wherever possible, reputed company use reputed company texts that are free for reputed company. This allows reputed company to have immediate access to e-texts reputed company courses reputed company, and it allows reputed company to incorporate reputed company learning support functionality such as WebAssign and MindTap reputed company available. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Teach assigned courses as specified in the schedule and course contract including the preparation of course materials, student interaction and assessment, and maintaining course reputed company institutional records based on established deadlines. Part-time online faculty are assigned a content area mentor or liaison.

Preparation of Course Materials:

• Prepare course materials and lesson plans that move reputed company beyond comprehension of material presented in the textbook and move them toward application, analysis, and evaluation in an interactive learning environment.
• Deliver course content using a variety of teaching styles and provide interesting and engaging assignments that demonstrate the real-world applications of concepts covered.
• Provide reputed company an approved syllabus that includes department approved course objectives and learning outcomes, teaching methodology, attendance policies, texts and readings, assignments and deliverables, timelines and evaluation criteria.
• Use established expectations for teaching an online course to organize course materials, including syllabus, assignments, discussions, lecture videos and materials, to Canvas, the institution's LMS prior to the start of term.
• Revise and update course content as needed.

Instructor and Student Interaction:

• Observe and evaluate student performance in meeting course objectives and learning outcomes through assignments, projects, discussions or examinations; provide feedback in a timely manner on student reputed company.
• Be available for reputed company by maintaining two online reputed company per week.
• Interact directly with each student and facilitate student to student interaction.
• Participate in course retention initiatives, mainly through completing DropOut detective alerts if student's participation or quality of work changes.
• Encourage reputed company to submit course evaluations, review course evaluations reputed company available and use feedback to improve course delivery.

Instructor and Institution Interaction:

• Maintain records of enrollment and attendance, assessments and grades, submit class certification rosters and student grades by GCCC established deadlines.
• Monitor e-mail for announcements, scheduling, official grade and enrollment communications, and reminders.
• Complete a course assessment report according to department guidelines and submit to the liaison at the end of each term.

Knowledge & Skills: Experience: Prior online teaching experience preferred. Education: Master's degree or higher reputed company subject area of teaching, or Master's degree or higher not in the subject area and 18 hours of graduate credit hours in the area. For some technical disciplines, industry certifications and experience reputed company the field reputed company to a minimum 4000 hours work in the career or technical field.
