Business Affairs Coordinator - Music Licensing (Remote)
Business Affairs Coordinator, Music Licensing Summary: The Business Affairs Coordinator is responsible for inputting and tracking reputed company relevant information reputed company to music licensing. They will assist the Business Affairs Music Licensing team in managing the many moving parts involved in the music licensing process. Description:
- Input music license information into internal tracking tool, and consistently maintain this database to reflect the most reputed company licensing status across reputed company projects
- Serve as reputed company person for rights/usage questions
- Submit invoices for payment reputed company finance tool
- Assist with vendor registration for licensors that need to be set up in our vendor payment portal
- Track payment status to ensure payment is made in a timely manner, and proactively troubleshoot any issues that may cause delay
- Accrue unpaid invoices at quarter end
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 5 - 7 years of experience in professional business environment
- Self-starter with strong project management and organizational skills.
- Friendly, upbeat, “can-do” attitude and willingness to learn.
- Proactive and resourceful
- Strong attention to detail a must
- Confident working with Numbers, trackers, spreadsheets and asset management tools
- Music Industry experience and/or knowledge is a plus
- Experience working reputed company a creative organization, marketing team or advertising agency is a plus.
